Stearic Acid is triple pressed palm stearic acid. This product is cosmetic grade. Stearic Acid is commonly used to emulsify lotions made from scratch as well as thicken lip balm recipes. It can also be used in candle manufacturing to raise the melt point and improve the hardness of candle wax along with countless other applications.
Cocamidopropyl Betaine is a gentle surfactant used in skin care products, mainly face and body washes, that is almost always employed as a secondary cleansing agent. Sometimes referred to as a c-surfactant. When used alone as the sole cleansing agent, it is generally too mild to clean adult skin and hair but is sometimes used as the sole cleansing agent in products for children. In any rinse-off formula, it also helps increase the lather or foam effect of cleansers.

Benefits of Glycerin: It is a humectant, a type of moisturizing agent that pulls water into the outer layer of your skin from deeper levels of your skin and the air. I use vegetable Glycerin in my products.

It works well at inhibiting the growth of these organisms at extremely low concentrations and because of this is considered very cost effective. It works well with most cosmetic ingredients, has no known inactivating counterpart ingredients and can be used in most surfactant formulations.
